National Nutrition Week (1 to 7 Sept) We love the fact that we are able to play a role, however small in making a difference to the wonderful children of India 14 per cent of the population in India is malnourished. Inadequate food supply, undernutrition and hunger, can lead to ailments and diseases. We started coaching classes to help them complete their homework on a daily basis besides helping them with tables, poems, answers etc.. Children started getting better grades. They were happy, we were happier. Soon we faced one more roadblock, which was sickness. We conducted a medical camp for them. The doctor suggested that these children were malnourished, they would require supplements to cope with the deficiency. We started giving them nourishing food items.
