Deworming Day We have been coaching slum children for the past 13 years, looking after their health. During their medical check-up, we were informed that they require deworming medicines every half yearly. As this is a challenge for most poor people, we included this also in our work. Auro Mira Care Foundation has been donating Deworming Medicines regularly to us. We have 100 children now & they have sent us the dose for all of them. Deworming has improved their immunity It has protected them from chronic illnesses caused by worms. It has improved their concentration and attendance, making them more productive in school. It has increased nutrient uptake and controls infections such as anaemia, loose bowels, etc Thank You Auro Mira Care Foundation for looking after our Slum Children. As we firmly believe, the world can indeed be transformed if we come together.

One Man Batallion : Late Mr Choithram J Bijlani Once my father was deputed to a village where dacoits used to trouble them for the booty. In order to solve the matter, my dad asked for the help of the battalion, to which the British Govt agreed. Dacoits sent messages to keep the booty at a specific place on a day. Dad informed the department who agreed to send a horse-mounted battalion a day earlier. An insider informed the dacoits about it. 2 days before the agreed date a man came running and informed my dad that dacoits are on their way. The battalion was to arrive the next day. I worked for Reserve Bank of India for 27 years & retired as Assistant Manager. Believe me, me metabiological age is 45 years whereas my biological age is 72 years. I hang out with my school friends since past 60 years. I joined Anupam Kher's Acting Academy at 70 years & made friends with people 1/3 of my age & often hang out with them in theatres etc. I am very passionate about social causes.
